I would recommend pro bono work to anyone who is hoping to work in the legal sector. Although experience shadowing legal professionals is valuable, partaking in pro bono work goes above and beyond this.

The amazing opportunity to intern at the Public Defender’s Office was offered by Nottingham Law School as part of the Law in Practice Module, available for final year students to study.
On Wednesday 24 February 2016, 19 other students and I visited the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom and the famous Old Bailey Criminal Court in London.
