About Dorota Stumpf
It's never too late to pursue a dream. My passion for Accessory Design now, burns as brightly as it did 30 years ago .... if not more! The first year of BA FAD (Fashion Accessory Design) has challenged me immensely .... but it's the only way of knowing what I am capable of. The course has opened up some amazing opportunities. I've become a "Global Finalist" in the IHDA - Handbag 101 - Instyle Magazine's Handbag Competition, which took me to New York with my "Funky Monkey" style rucksack for Kipling in June. I've designed and created upcycled accessories for Miss Nottingham for the Miss England Eco Pageant and won First Prize in the TRAID Upcycled Accessories Catwalk Show in May and had my work displayed in their Camden Store. It's been a whirlwind, but I can't wait for the second year of this three year course.
