Moving forward with Changing the Learning Landscape Projects
The last couple of weeks have been a busy period with our Changing the Learning Landscape projects.
We’ve successfully recruited two student Digital Skill Mentors to work with Jane Challinor on her SCALE-Up module. It was great meeting them last week and I think they’ll make a really positive contribution to project. They’ve already been getting to grips with the module and meeting the first year students whom they’ll be supporting.
Our Strategic Consultancy Conversation with senior colleagues from around NTU is happening in a few weeks time, so the project team have been preparing the ground work for that day. I think it will be a really good opportunity to discuss in more detail our implementation plan and look at how we can support Schools more closely with this work.
Part of our implementation plan is looking at Digital Competencies and conducting some detailed analysis of our current Professional Services support for digital practice and digital literacy for both staff and students. The first of the workshops will be happening shortly after our strategic consultancy conversation and it will be really good to have those discussions fresh to aid that work.
Finally, I’ve been talking with various groups around the university about the Changing the Learning Landscape project and what’s going to be happening moving forward. If you’re interested in learning more, please contact myself or firstname.lastname@example.org
